Drew Smith the Photographer   2 comments

Hi, my name is Drew Smith and I’m a photographer and this is my Blog.

For the most part my posts in this Blog are, and will be, about photography and feature my images. Accompanying these images will be my thoughts and observations.

My passion for photography, art and design began many years ago when I bought my first film camera. I’m now based in Nottinghamshire and I run a series of Photographic courses for enthusiastic photographers who want to get to grips with their Digital SLR Camera. People that may have been struggling with getting the shots they want or are confused about which setting does what. And for those people that are ready to move up to the next level with their photography.

My courses offer you a logical, straightforward progression of ‘hands-on’ Modules to give you the tools you need to get the most out of your camera.

TESTIMONIALS

Your photographic talent speaks for itself Drew, but only your pupils can speak for your talents as a tutor. Having attended your beginners course I have nothing but praise, thank you. Your 12 week course was extremely well structured and from day 1 we were encouraged to get out and take photos away from auto using the manual settings on the camera shooting in RAW. Backed by your illustrated notes, homework and constructive feedback I now have the confidence and the passion to want go out and better every shot I take. Your passion and enthusiasm is infectious and the support and encouragement you have offered throughout the course has been tremendous. The introductory session in Photoshop you incorporated into this course has been invaluable and I’m thrilled that I now have a place secured on your next Photoshop course. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the wonderful world of photography Drew!
